Hi, I am Allison Hemmer


I am a professional photographer based in the beautiful Catskills Mountains. I grew up in the small town of Livingston Manor, NY - the same place I now get to call home while capturing moments for families in this incredible community.


My journey into photography started while I was on the path to becoming an occupational therapist. Along, the way, I discovered a deep passion for photography - one that mirrors much of what I love about OT. I get to meet amazing people, build real connections, and give them something meaningful they'll cherish for years to come.


I feel incredibly lucky to do a job I truly love. I specialize in maternity, high school seniors, newborns and family photography, with a focus on creating images that feel natural, relaxed and true to you.


When I am not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my dog, hiking local trails, or exploring all that the Catskills have to offer.

My style is true-to-life, warm, and timeless. I focus on natural light and genuine emotion, creating images that feel honest and effortless rather then overly posed.
